Roka is rolling thanks to D R Services
D R Services met all the criteria demanded of the design, including doors and panels that allow the whole restaurant to open along two full sides.
The first impression when entering the newly opened Roka Restaurant in London's Charlotte Street is that of glass and light Designers, Superpotato/Muramatsu Design Studio in association with UK consultants, B3 Designers have created an interior that embraces glazing as a design option, whilst allowing it to provide a functional role within the daily operation of the restaurant

The prominence of the glass inside the restaurant creates the illusion of calm and openness, with D R Services supplying and installing a number of key components for specialist project managers Subdale .
The company installed a full height glass wall which acts as a focal point on entry to the restaurant as it is backlit and wallpapered.
A glass enclosure surrounds the dumb waiter, with two glass fronted display areas each 3m high and 6m wide.
One of these has a stunning display of 60 glass shelves.
To the open plan cooking areas, there are sneeze guards and cold food glass cabinets.
Continuing the glazing theme, two fire glass surrounds enclose the stairs and the 3.2m high shop fronts comprise slide and stack walls, pivot door and panic escape doors to six openings allowing the side walls to stack away.
Finally, D R Services supplied mirrors to all restrooms and urinal dividers to the gentlemen's restroom.
The result is a very contemporary and stunning eatery, which reflects the minimalist clean order of Japanese culture.
