New CD guide to sliding systems
D R Services specialises in the design, supply and installation of frameless glass systems and fittings and has produced a new CD which details its services.
The two and three bed roomed apartments each contain a minimum of two bathrooms and within the main en-suite, the architects have specified special shower trays of reconstituted stone with channels cast in for floor to ceiling glass.
These purpose made glass screens from D R Services have been specifically designed to match the high quality contemporary theme of the internal space.
Each bathroom contains white sanitary ware with pressed steel baths and the full height glazed screens reflect the modern approach of the design.
"We required a large number of shower trays and screens for this development and D R Services was able to manufacture and supply the items to our exact specification," comments Mike Scott of Regime.
"The appearance of the apartments is visually striking with large amounts of glass incorporated throughout, with floor to ceiling double height glazed windows or doors to all private internal spaces".
"D R Services enabled us to carry this glazed theme through to the bath and shower rooms to maintain a uniformity of design throughout the development".
The Pulse Apartments are located on a site that previously housed derelict buildings and warehouses.
These were demolished to make way for the new development, which is one of the first in the country to offer 50% affordable housing as part of the contract.
D R Services has a long history of providing high quality shower enclosures and glass detailing to a range of projects both in the private and public sectors.
Together with a portfolio of standard products, the company offers a bespoke service to ensure that all clients' design requirements are fulfilled.
