Frameless Glass Canopy from DR Services
D R Services' Frameless Glass Canopies have been installed in a variety of applications including schools, hospitals and the Theatre Royal in Stratford.
Also, it can be used with 15mm glass whereas the original was only suitable for 12mm and 19mm glass.
The Base Shoe is tested in the UK to meet BS6180 and BS6399 Part 1:1996.
Attachment of Base Shoe is simple and fast and is installed in conjunction with D R Services' GlassWedge.
This eliminates the use of messy cements and grips glass for easy installation into the Base Shoe.
Attachment of the Base Shoe can be direct to the concrete via an aluminium base plate fixed to the concrete with M16 countersink bolts into a 100mm long resin socket.
This suits sound concrete with a minimum depth of 120mm.
It can also be attached to weld blocks or welded to a steel substrate.
If the Base Shoe is being attached to structurally secure steel substrate, all that is required is the welding together of the two with no drilling or tapping of holes.
Finally, the Base Shoe can be attached to a channel or angle from the side in a fascia mount.
An alternative is to fasten an angel to the fascia and mount the Base Shoe with a regular bottom mount method.
