Construction of a new centre for management studies within the grounds to one of the south-east's most striking university campuses has included the installation of a bespoke glass entrance canopy.
The individual units are all made bottom rolling so that the entire wall can be moved aside in good weather to provide natural ventilation for the dining area.
D R Services employed its Twin Roll system to mobilise the glass wall for the popular bar and restaurant, with the slender vertical framing sections optimising both visibility and light transmission.
The 40 mm profiles were finished in a RAL Brown to give the appearance of natural timber.

D R Services was selected to supply the bespoke glazing solution for this prestigious application by the architectural practice leading the project, Waugh Thistleton, while MD Interiors was the contractor undertaking the work.
