Refurbishment and extension of a London restaurant featured the installation of a fully glazed, moveable wall by D R Services.

The refurbishment and extension of a London restaurant featured the installation of a fully glazed, moveable wall by Hertfordshire based specialist, D R Services The contract at The Farm in Fulham required D R Services to manufacture and fit a 13 metre long double glazed wall, fabricated in a dozen sections

The individual units are all made bottom rolling so that the entire wall can be moved aside in good weather to provide natural ventilation for the dining area.

D R Services employed its Twin Roll system to mobilise the glass wall for the popular bar and restaurant, with the slender vertical framing sections optimising both visibility and light transmission.

The 40 mm profiles were finished in a RAL Brown to give the appearance of natural timber.

Then where the panels overlap brush seals prevent draughts.

D R Services was selected to supply the bespoke glazing solution for this prestigious application by the architectural practice leading the project, Waugh Thistleton, while MD Interiors was the contractor undertaking the work.
