AGILE Business Conference, organized by the DSDM Consortium, for project management and managing business change.

Workshop delegates to explore eXtreme Programming techniques.

As an important part of the proceedings at the AGILE Business Conference, taking place at the QEII Conference Centre, London, 7-9 November, is a standalone workshop - Mapping XP - that explores primary practices in eXtreme Programming.

The workshop follows the conference on November 10.

Led by the 'father' of eXtreme Programming and JUnit, Kent Beck and Cynthia Andres, co-author of 'eXtreme Programming Explained', the workshop aims to examine the needs of the individual and to find practices to address them.

Delegates will have the chance to learn how to address process change, reach agreement on programming goals, implement practices and sustain them.

Kent Beck is a founder of the Three Rivers Institute.

His contributions to software development include patterns for software, the rediscovery of test-first programming, the xUnit family of developer testing tools and eXtreme Programming.

The Agile Business Conference is designed to help Business and IT executives make informed strategic decisions related to the use of AGILE approaches as an integral part of business processes.

The conference will provide a forum for business leaders to learn more about AGILE approaches and techniques.

There will be opportunities to network with the emerging agile movement in Europe and to find out how to adopt an agile approach successfully in traditional organisations and environments.
