Duraflex doors and windows make Village debut

A Duraflex product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team May 30, 2008

Village Developments has chosen the Duraflex Diamond collection of doors and windows for its prestigious new site at Stanstead Close, Caterham, Surrey.

The company was impressed by the Duraflex 65mm PVCU Diamond range at a trade exhibition and decided to specify the products for the Stanstead Close development.

Chris Gilbert, general manager of Village Developments, said: "Service is absolutely vital when choosing a supplier.

"We build largely timber-framed homes so the windows and doors go in at a relatively early stage.

"These products make our buildings watertight and allow following trades to carry on with any internal work.

"Duraflex Diamond is a high-quality product but even more importantly, the company's personal service is excellent.

"We have the confidence of knowing the product will perform well and that any issues will be resolved promptly.

"We're now fitting the range on further developments".

Installation of the GBP35k project was completed at end of 2007 by Supaglazing of Rochester, Kent.

Duraflex is one of the largest extruders of PVCU profile in the UK, supplying householders, builders, developers, local authorities and housing associations through a nationwide network of fabricators and installers.

Its windows, doors and conservatory suites are engineered to create a superb finish to any installation and come with a comprehensive 10-year guarantee.

The company operates to stringent manufacturing and quality standards.

It also holds the Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 British Standards Institute Award.
