Award-winning UK renewable company Dulas of mid Wales has just won a GBP1 million order from Nigeria for its world-leading solar vaccine fridges.
The area reflected in its world biosphere status Working hard to become a carbon neutral company, Dulas plays its part in the "relocalisation" process, too, buying local as well as fairly traded supplies wherever possible and providing co-operative workers with solar powered cycle parking, cycling incentive schemes and fresh-cooked lunches made from local food.
Marketing Director Ian Draisey says: "We are delighted to support and be associated with Dyfi Mountain Biking and their Cli-machx trail".
"We want to recognise the efforts made by a local voluntary group that has committed so much time to creating such brilliant trails".
"The trails bring valued tourism income into the area and their sustainable design and maintenance ensures the careful management of one of our most important assets - the local environment".
Besides which, as Ian admits, most of Dulas's 40-strong workforce are keen cyclists and mountain bikers.
