The first calss Radisson SAS Liverpool boasts a dramatic, triangular atrium and a spacious lobby, which includes the aptly named White Bar.
Clad entirely in pure white Corian, this elegant structure spans across from the lobby and into the "cottage," an annexe of the hotel created from original, listed fishermen's dwellings.
Both imposing and appealing, the White Bar benefits from the sleek, seamless appearance of over 300 metres of Corian in Cameo White.

DuPont Zytel tough and durable roof clip
New roof clip, developed by injection moulders Koves Plastic Industries . of New Zealand, is made of glass-reinforced DuPontT ZytelR nylon, which was selected for its strength and durability.
The material of choice also offers durability and stain-resistance, making it easier to keep looking pristine and beautiful - essential in applications subject to heavy use and frequent spills.
The White Bar was designed by Richard Eastwood of R2 Architecture, who comments, "The span of the bar required a material had that could pass from inside the new lobby, go outside and then into the cottage.
We needed something homogenous that would not weather in different ways, in order to maintain the autonomous nature of the link structure within the two different spaces.
As there are different interior solutions in the cottage and the lobby, the material of the bar structure had to stand in contrast to the upholstered walls in the lobby and the curtains to the cottage.
The only material that answered all the requirements was Corian." As a counterpoint to the White Bar, the hotel's Italian restaurant, Filini, uses less contrast in colour, shape and texture, employing a softer palette of sages and greys, with accents provided by artwork and lighting.
Here, the material of choice for the countertops was Zodiaq, the radiant new quartz surface from DuPont.
Impressively combining great strength and beauty, Zodiaq comes in a versatile palette that includes classic darks and contemporary neutrals, and unlike raw stone, can be specified in pure whites or bold, rich hues.
With an inherent, lasting gloss that requires no sealants or treatments, it is an ideal material for hard-working surfaces that need to stay looking good.
Like Corian, it is non-porous and therefore offers key hygiene and maintenance benefits for food and beverage environments.
To harmonise with the stylishly understated d?cor of Filini, Zodiaq in new Magellan Green was specified by architects, AEDAS AHR.
Zodiaq surfaces feature on the restaurant bar, the waiter stations and also on three servery counters for the hot and cold buffet.
