A range of pipe and joint solutions from Durapipe UK have been specified to cater for new build office and laboratory space in the North West.
Looking for a soil drainage system that offered sound-reducing properties to minimise noise emitted by sanitary installations within the luxury accommodation, TBB Plumbing and Heating originally specified a traditional pipework solution that required additional sound insulation.
However, the added labour cost to fit the additional insulation prompted specifiers to opt for 110mm Friaphon, a built-in sound attenuation drainage system, manufactured by dual forming two materials of different density, and guaranteeing excellent sound insulation and airborne sound reduction properties.

Friaphon pipe and rubber ring jointed fittings are available in 110mm and 160mm sizes and allow simple connection to UK sized waste pipe of 32, 40 and 50mm.
The Charles Cross development is set to be complete by October this year.
The luxury apartments are located near Plymouth's historic Barbican harbour and city centre.
