Durapipe UK sets to continue sporting success

Durapipe UK is sponsoring Sheffield Wednesday Ladies Reserve Football team for a second year, as part of its ongoing support for sport in the community.

After a successful first season, Durapipe UK is sponsoring Sheffield Wednesday Ladies Reserve Football team for a second year, as part of its ongoing support for sport in the community.

Pre-season training saw Durapipe UK put the team through its paces with a range of pipework props to help improve agility and fitness levels, in preparation for what hopes to be another successful season.

Commenting on the continuing sponsorship, reserve team manager, Ian Masling, said: "We are delighted that Durapipe UK is supporting us for a second season, its support last year undoubtedly contributed to our success and we hope it will become an on-going partnership".

"The fully coordinated kits will continue to help the team to both look and feel the part, giving them confidence and therefore increasing the quality of their game." Martyn Rowlands, head of marketing for Durapipe UK added: "Last year was the first time Durapipe UK has been involved in sponsorship programmes and due to its tremendous success and through building a good relationship with the team management, we are delighted to be continuing our sponsorship of Sheffield Wednesday Ladies and are looking forward to another great season".

Last season saw the team exceeding all expectations, finishing runners-up in the Midland Combination Reserve league, narrowly missing out on the title by goal difference to Leicester City Reserves.
