The VKD valve is a robust option and incorporates several, cutting edge features.
The premium aspect is a new, patented ?Dual Block? control, which offers unique anti-vibration properties.
This quality makes it the ideal solution for a range of extreme and testing environments, in particular hard working conditions where vibration or thermal expansion occur, which typically cause the nuts within alternative valves to come un-locked.
An additional quality of the new VKD valve is that the valve body is shaped to allow the direct, safe and easy installation of an actuation device, with the use of PowerQuick, the new actuation module.
PowerQuick has been specifically developed for the easy assembling of pneumatic or electric actuators or other operational control devices on the valve body.
Other benefits of the new valve include a double ?O? Ring seal to assure the perfect stem sealing, optional handle locking mechanism and extension handle kits.
The VKD will also have the patented ?seat stop? system, which allows the micro adjustment of the seats onto the ball whilst the valve is still in line.
Available in ABS, PVC-U, PVC-C, Polypropylene and PVDF materials, the VKD valve has been produced with the latest injection moulding technologies, making it suitable for use in the most severe industrial applications, with working pressures of up to 16 bar at 20C.
The new valve is the same dimensional body length as the existing VK valve option, ranging from 16mm to 110 mm and 3/8? to 4?, making both valve solutions fully interchangeable.
