A range of pipe and joint solutions from Durapipe UK have been specified to cater for new build office and laboratory space in the North West.
A purpose-designed sound reducing drainage system, Friaphon is manufactured by dual forming two materials of different density, guaranteeing excellent sound insulation and airborne sound reduction properties.
Both the Durapipe ABS pipework and the Friaphon system were also chosen due to their ease of handling on site as well as being safe to install, which enabled the specifiers to make significant labour savings for the project, without compromising on product quality.

Durapipe ABS and Friaphon also offered added benefits to Aura Homes, in the form of corrosion-free properties, which help to increase overall product lifecycle expectancy and reduce maintenance and replacement costs.
Durapipe ABS has exceptional impact strength, making it more resistant to damage, while the Friaphon product is made from high-quality plastics to ensure corrosion and encrustation-free components and parts.
Durapipe ABS and Friaphon are both manufactured in millimetre sizes, with Durapipe ABS also available in inch measurement.
The Durapipe ABS range can be used for a diverse range of applications, including air-conditioning and refrigeration and food and beverage processing.
Friaphon is constructed using a robust, twin wall structure and does not require lagging, which offers a superior solution for all above ground drainage and internal rainwater applications and is ideal for the design and build developments of inner city apartments and the like.
