Dulux Trade contributes to school makeover project

Dulux Trade is partnering with The British Council for School Environments on the Big School Makeover programme.

Project partners Dulux Trade, along with Willmott Dixon, will be working with The British Council for School Environments (BCSE).

Dulux Trade will provide support through its specialist colour consultants both ahead of the makeovers and onsite to offer practical advice as well as providing supplies.

BCSE's Big School Makeover is a national education programme to encourage teachers, parents and young people to get involved in refurbishing education spaces.

The programme's slogan is Small Change to Big Difference, illustrating that imagination and effort can turn any area into a stimulating place for learning.

Over the next two weeks makeover projects will be completed in five schools in Brighton, Manchester, North Tyneside, Devon and Cambridge to kickstart the scheme.

This marks the start of a year-round programme of events, activities and competitions to encourage pupils, staff, schools, local authorities and other organisations across the education, design and construction sectors to make a real difference to school environments.
