DuPont displays its green ranges at Ecobuild

DuPont Building Innovations will present products and technologies at Ecobuild, showing commitment to developing environmentally sustainable architectural solutions and building infrastructures.

DuPont Tyvek building membranes have helped to influence the way buildings are designed and built, and offer all the key requirements for a high performance breather membrane.

DuPont Tyvek is naturally vapour open but also watertight due its composition of micro fibres, bonded together to create a maze that is impermeable to moisture yet allows water vapour to pass through the natural pores in its structure.

DuPont Tyvek UV Facade is a lightweight, flexible and easy to install membrane, specifically designed to provide lifelong protection to open-jointed facades exposed to UV radiation.

DuPont Tyvek Reflex metallised breather membranes for walls, combine high reflectivity with superior moisture diffusion capacity and improved air tightness.

DuPont AirGuard is highly reflective metallised vapour control layer that also offers very low emissivity of radiant heat.

These materials work together with a range of tapes and sealants to create an airtight building envelope.

DuPont Energain is a long lasting thermal mass solution for environmentally sustainable buildings, based on an innovative phase change material from DuPont.

It is available in lightweight panels, it is suitable for low-inertia structures such as timber, steel or aluminium framed buildings, and can help to reduce interior temperature peaks by as much as 7C.

DuPont Energain decreases air conditioning costs and heating costs, making a contribution to the reduction of the carbon footprint of a building.

DuPont Typar Geosynthetics are a recognised solution for civil engineering and construction challenges worldwide.

DuPont Typar is a spun-bonded non-woven fabric made of continuous polypropylene fibers.
