Dyno-Rod at your convenience
Dyno-Rod at your convenience - green solutions to toilet odours saves money.
Dyno-Rod is introducing a urinal treatment programme into its DrainCare maintenance package.
It incorporates Sani-Sleeve, a highly effective and environmentally sound consumable product that provides a means of dealing with the dual problems of smells and blockages in toilet urinals.
DrainCare provides a service plan that includes system installation, regular replacement of the Sani-Sleeve unit every 3 months and a 'no blockage' warranty.
Once fitted, the Sani-Sleeve unit continually releases a bio-enzyme into the urinal trap which helps to prevent the accumulation of uric salt, a common cause of blockages in a urinals pipework.
Money spent on un-blocking urinals is therefore usually saved.
The unit is designed to create a seal that ensures uric odour is prevented from polluting the washroom.
The net effect is that flush frequency can be considerably reduced, allowing a genuine saving in water consumption to be achieved.
Users also gain economies from reduced usage of chemical cleaners and urinal blocks.
Unlike alternative systems, Sani-Sleeve eliminates smells and does not just mask odours or lead to a build up of lime scale.
It does not employ harmful chemicals or require constant flushing for it to work.
Sani-Sleeve is offered as part of a total DrainCare service programme that includes the installation and servicing of Sani-Sleeve units and a water control valve, periodic machine cleaning of pipework and regular checks and adjustments to ensure the system is working at optimum efficiency.
The programme includes a full guarantee against blockages.
Once installed in both new urinals or retrofitted to existing installations, Sani-Sleeve simply requires the urinal waste outlet to be replaced on average every three months.
Research has suggested that Sani-Sleeve could use on average 6,500 litres of water per annum compared with 150,000 litres for the standard urinal flushed every 15 minutes - representing an essential saving in water metered commercial premises.
Typically, the cost of the service programme can be recovered in just 6-8 months.
