Unblocking, repairing and renovating drains
Dyno-Rod's DrainCare programme provides regular service visits for an entire drainage system or specific sectors of it.
DYNO-ROD: EXPERTISE IN UNBLOCKING, REPAIRING AND RENOVATING DRAINS There are four main reasons why drains block: misuse, structural faults, deterioration over time and lack of service whereby the build up of silt, scale or grease is not addressed.
It is only a matter of time before the pipe's capacity and flow is reduced or obstructed to create the conditions for a blockage.
There are, of course, measures that can be taken to guard against the inconvenience of a blocked drain.
Many of these are centred around "good housekeeping" and regular checking that drains are free-flowing by periodically lifting drain covers.
Many organisations also favour regular planned maintenance and benefit from Dyno-Rod's DrainCare programme which provides regular service visits for an entire drainage system or specific sectors of it.
Underground drains and sewers can suffer from structural defects caused by ground movement, leakage, subsidence, tree root infiltration and corrosion.
Deterioration rates can be determined by factors such as soil type, sewerage surcharge and the water table.
These defects can be identified by Dyno-Rod's CCTV drain surveying service.
Dyno-Rod engineers have at their disposal a range of unblocking techniques from basic rodding, through to high pressure water jetting, electro-mechanical cleaning and tanker jetting.
The most appropriate approach will be recommended by Dyno-Rod engineers based upon unrivalled experience in drain blockage clearance in both the domestic and commercial markets.
Drains and sewers may also crack or may totally collapse and there are now many different solutions for repairing and renovating them.
Excavation is normally used to replace short sections of pipe at a shallow depth but can be both expensive and disruptive.
Dyno-Rod has, therefore, continually been at the forefront of "no-dig" solutions (repair without excavation) which are less disruptive, less time consuming and normally less expensive.
Specialist solutions are also available for applications such as the relining of pitch fibre pipework.
With the launch of in2, Dyno-Rod is further expanding its "no-dig" expertise with a pipe replacement system that has major advantages in terms of low capital costs, ease of use, quick installation and minimal disruption.
