Specialist Services.
In addition to mainstream drain related activities, Dyno-Rod offer an extensive range of specialist services:.
* Cleaning and Emptying Tanks - Dyno-Rod deals safely and swiftly with the removal and disposal of trade effluents and other liquid waste _ everything from clearing septic tanks, cesspits and petrol interceptors to gully sucking.
Dyno-Rod is licensed to carry waste.
* Cleaning Hard Surfaces - For surface cleaning, Dyno-Rod's expertise in high pressure water jetting covers a wide range of applications.
Using handheld lances, and if necessary with abrasive sand introduced into the water flow, skilled operators use jet power to strip floors, walls, canopies, tanks and machinery of scale and debris.
The toughest dirt, oil hardened paint and cement spillage comes away rapidly.
Whether you need to degrease a garage floor, descale the inside of tanks or condensers, remove graffiti or strip rubber deposits from an airport runway, Dyno-Rod's surface cleaning specialists have the right solution to hand.
* Cleaning Process Pipework - The efficiency of process and other pipework systems can suffer as a result of scale, rust, soot and many other residues building up and hardening.
When the pipework twists and turns the problem is exacerbated.
Dyno-Rod's answer is flexible, polyurethane plugs.
Hydraulically or pneumatically propelled through pipework, these 'pigs' provide effective cleaning.
When hardened deposits are present, pigs with an abrasive coating scour out pipe walls, taking aggregated material in their stride.
Having Drains, Pipework Or Ducting Installed Without Excavation.
Rapid installation of drainage and duct lines is possible without excavation.
There are two techniques Dyno-Rod utilises:.
* Moling - Pneumatic technology enables the fast and cost-effective installation of drainage lines and service connections along straight courses under roads, railways, rivers, runways, pathways and gardens without any ground disturbance.
Dyno-Rod moles bore at an average rate of 10 metres per hour, with mains or service pipes being simultaneously pulled into the bore directly behind the machine.
* Directional Drilling - While moling provides for straight line connections, directional drilling techniques allow the bore to negotiate geological, structural obstacles and other underground services.
Steerable bores of up to 300 metres in length and 350mm in diameter can be achieved with the latest Dyno-Rod equipment.
The direct drilling machine is set up with the frame angled to ensure the drill's egress at the appropriate point.
Drilling is aided by a water slurry injection, which lubricates the ground as the drill bores through the earth.
As the head begins to make progress, steel rods are loaded in to help drive its progress and retain the integrity of the hole made.
A sonic tracer contained in the drilling head enables its location to be tracked remotely by operatives as it progresses along its predetermined path.
Once the drilling head has arrived at its destination, a back reamer pulls the pipework/ducting back through the pilot hole.
It re-emerges at the original start point with the pipework/ducting now installed underneath the road.
