Easy Price Pro software for Buildingtalk readers

Easy Price Pro's software development team is about to launch the long-awaited Version 5 of its estimating software for pricing up renovations and alterations.

Easy Price Pro is now looking for 10 Buildingtalk readers from any of the general building trades to try out the R and A (Renovations and Alterations) Version 5, and provide valuable feedback.

Successful applicants will be rewarded with a licence to use the new software free of charge for six months.

The most striking improvement in the new R and A program is the interactive 3D colour graphics which accompany every aspect of each job and which are an integral part of the new software.

Users can key their figures directly into the pictures, instead of the cells, to generate the automatic calculations Easy Price Pro software is famous for.

There are around 1,000 pictures, so each individual task is covered by this new, user-friendly method.

The user has complete control and can easily change the defaults the program suggests to their own personal specifications.

For example, you might prefer to use a different mix, or a different size of block.

There are many extra job templates included and Version 5 now has a total of 125 different jobs in all, making it more relevant and cost effective for many more individual trades - roofers/roof tilers, plasterers, carpenters, bricklayers, painters and decorators and kitchen and bathroom fitters.

Every job previously included has been reviewed, worked on and improved so the options are much more detailed and sophisticated.

In terms of paperwork, the pricing sheet is extremely flexible.

If you've forgotten to include a job, or the customer asks for an extra feature, you can insert it anywhere in the sheet and everything, including quote, reports and management charts, is updated automatically.

You choose the jobs to be included by clicking on the relevant letter of the alphabet to reveal all jobs beginning with that letter.

Click the one required and the job template appears, ready for you to put in basic dimensions and/or quantity.

The rest is calculated for you.

The program writes a detailed professional quotation and creates work schedules, stage payment schedules, a full material order list and a full bill of quantities.

The new R and A Version 5 is fully compatible with Easy Order Ultra, Easy Combiner (for use with New Houses and Extensions Plus) and Health and Safety Plus.

Renovations and Alterations Version 5 is available free of charge to those customers whose upgrade entitlement is up to date.

R and A customers whose upgrades have run out should still get in touch as we will be offering a loyalty discount for the first three months following the launch.

Register on Easy Price Pro's website to receive an advance copy of the new R and A Version 5 so the company can test the new software on the most discerning and demanding audience possible - Buildingtalk readers! The first 10 builders and allied trades people to respond will be asked to provide feedback and, when that is received and processed, they will receive the finalised new program as soon as it's ready, activated for six months free of charge.

And if those selected also want to suggest a job that's not included we will consider it carefully and, if it's feasible, include it in the future.
