Heat pumps bring huge benefits at Ecobuild

A Danfoss Heat Pumps UK product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Jan 31, 2008

Heat Pumps will be demonstrating how heat pumps represent a more energy efficient and cost effective option with huge environmental benefits at Ecobuild.

Technical specialists from ECO Heat Pumps' commercial department will be on hand to explain how heat pumps can use energy from the ground, air or nearby water course to supply renewable energy that provides all of a building's heating and hot water needs.

Phil Moore, Managing Director for ECO Heat Pumps, said: "Many architects, developers and contractors are recognising how heat pumps provide a sustainable heating solution with huge environmental benefits".

"They can play a major part in reducing a property's carbon footprint, which is becoming ever more important in both the new build and renovation sector".

"We are looking forward to demonstrating the huge benefits of heat pumps in providing an affordable and energy efficient heating system for the future".

ECO Heat Pumps, which is an accredited partner to British Gas, can offer GBP1,500 towards domestic installations and 35% off the cost of heat pumps when fitted into schools, local authorities, housing associations and charitable organisations.

Phil Moore continues: "All of our systems are bespoke to the requirements of each building".

"Many people don't realise that heat pumps are four times more efficient than a standard gas boiler, which explains why the heating bills are so much lower".

"One of our systems typically pays for itself in 5-10 years." ECO Heat Pumps has extensive experience in the design, supply and installation of heat pump systems for schools, developers, local authorities, housing associations and self builders.
