The Ecobuild 2010 conference will focus on emerging issues, new thinking, and challenging ideas within the construction industry.
There is much to assess and debate in 2010: the progress made in putting sustainability at the core of construction and the built environment: the future direction the sector needs to take, and how quickly and with what impact and to what effect.
This year's conference looks at the challenges facing the sector as a whole and house building in particular, how sustainability can be achievable even in a downturn, why the existing stock must be the new priority, and how energy generation has become a key issue at a micro and local level.
