Report into high rise buildings
High-rise residential towers are rapidly becoming a developing feature of the property market across the UK says a report by Knight Frank and EC Harris.
Record output for the residential market
The prospects for the private residential market across Europe are positive, according to leading international consultants EC Harris.
Jon has already played a major role in developing the Partnership's public sector team in Liverpool over the past year.
He has considerable experience of a wide range of public sector initiatives and project management in construction and refurbishment schemes, including the provision of both consultancy and hands-on delivery.
Prior to joining EC Harris he was Associate Director at Mace.
Jon commented on his new role; "The EC Harris team are involved in some of the most exciting public sector initiatives being undertaken and this new role gives me a very exciting career challenge".
"Our sector approach in meeting clients' needs is enabling us to play a growing role in the effective delivery of public services across the region".
"I am very proud to have the opportunity to lead the team at such an exciting time in its development".
One of Jon's early primary concerns centres on a major change in the funding for Voluntary Aided Schools this month which sees the current system of claiming Devolved Formula Capital replaced by direct payments.
He welcomed the possibility of the new funding system offering Voluntary Aided Schools more flexibility and less red tape but added: "There is sure to be a confusing time ahead as the changes settle but we are looking forward to providing the consultancy support both to the Diocesan education boards and individual schools to maximise the benefits for schools and pupils across the North West".
This importance of the key topic of schools' funding was also discussed at a recent major seminar at Knowsley Hall organised by the EC Harris Liverpool Education Team in conjunction with the Diocese of Liverpool and Diocese of Chester.
The event attracted more than 100 delegates including head teachers, governors and local education authority representatives.
