International consultancy EC Harris has won a prestigious contract to manage the transformation of the former Terry's chocolate factory in York GHT Developments LLP, a division of York based developer Grantside, is the partnership behind the scheme which plans to transform the site into a vibrant mixed use development that will deliver substantial benefits for the community

International property consultancy EC Harris has played a leading role in the government's largest serviced Private Finance Initiative (PFI), which has reached financial close.
In response to the draft development brief the proposals include employment offices and work units, housing and hotel and leisure facilities.
EC Harris successfully supported GHT Developments LLP in its £26million bid for the site and has now been appointed to lead a wide range of functions, throughout the construction programme, including management services, project management, quantity surveying, building surveying, health and safety and employer's agent.
