EC Harris wins major public sector award
EC Harris' Public Sector Solutions team has won Best Technical Advisor at the prestigious Public Private Finance Awards 2008.
This keynote event was held at The Grosvenor House Hotel and is a celebration of industry best practice EC Harris was shortlisted for its provision of technical and commercial advice, and bid-support to clients across the UK and Europe, and across sectors, including health, education, defence, infrastructure and custodial

The prospects for the private residential market across Europe are positive, according to leading international consultants EC Harris.
The award highlighted the firm's role in promoting a positive image of PFI/PPP and praised its continual track record of translating technical risk into commercial consequence for authorities, bidders and lenders.
Particular mention was made of the firms contribution to operational performance reviews and service benchmarking in respect of schemes which are now in operation.
EC Harris Partner and health sector specialist Ed Baldwin said "The changing focus within the PFI market is evident in respect of a shift from construction to operational performance and as such we are able to offer clients sustainable value from our whole life consultancy capability".
John Graham, EC Harris Partner who leads the Public Sector Solutions team, added: "We have demonstrated that EC Harris can provide solutions that deliver greater certainty of returns".
"The judging process particularly highlighted our ability to create better and more efficient health care and learning environments more cost effectively".
A number of EC Harris' clients also won awards for their excellence; including Project Allenby / Connaught and Renova Developments, the LIFT company at Halton and St Helens, Knowsley and Warrington.
