Ecophon systems maximise space
Department for International Development fit out features extensive use of Ecophon's Focus, Gedina and Curve systems.

The project involved the refurbishment of an existing building which offered a restricted floor to ceiling height.
In some areas raised access floors had to be installed for power, data and a ventilation system.
The new ceiling zone therefore had very tight design constraints whilst a number of design aims were paramount.
The Ecophon systems allowed the use of Curve Up-Lighting with concealed lighting, shining up into the soffit, without sacrificing design considerations.
The installation work was undertaken by Ecophon approved installer Soundtex Ceilings.
The Glasgow based company carried out the work over a 22 month period in five phases.
The contracts manager for Soundtex Ceilings, Mr Bruce Hamilton, recounts: "This was not an easy installation with the ceiling depths being just as tight as we could make them due to the restricted head height".
"However, we had discussions with Ecophon over technical issues before the start on site, and the whole job has gone very well".
The Gedina E15 product has been used in fitting out the DFID headquarters while Focus D ceilings feature in the entrance foyers at ground and first floor levels.
Furthermore, Focus C and Curve Up-Lighting form the perimeters to the main ceilings.
In places glazed partitions creating some new cellular offices have been interlocked beneath the Gedina and Curve ceiling sections. Request a free brochure from Ecophon ...
