Edgetech UK celebrated on Friday 15 September after scooping two G 06 Awards: Specialist of the Year and Energy Efficiency Initiative of the Year "It was an amazing night," says a beaming Andy Jones, Edgetech's Sales Director and General Manager, "and recognition of the hard work the whole Edgetech team has put in over the last year, transforming the market for warm edge"

"We've had three months of record Super Spacer sales in this year alone," continues Andy, "and an unprecedented number of enquiries.
Edgetech UK overtook its total 2005 sales of Super Spacer by 31 August 2006, the end of month eight, and is 55% up on the same period last year.
"But as the 'best of the best' the G Awards don't just reward high sales.
We've worked tirelessly to promote and develop the Window Energy Ratings (WER) for our customers - and the industry".
Fourteen of the top 'A' windows used Edgetech's leading warm edge spacer, Super Spacer, to secure their ratings.
Super Spacer helped Piper Double Glazing achieve the very first 'A' rated window; then Tradelink, with the first double glazed 'A'; George Barnsdale and Sons, with the first timber 'A'; and was used in the first aluminium 'A''from Hazlemere.
Andy adds: "Our May seminar, Energy Efficiency in Focus, helped bring the WER in to a wider audience - with 223 delegates from across the industry.
But this was just one part of a wider campaign.
Now we're calling on the industry to join us in lobbying the Government to cut VAT on 'C' or higher rated windows, in line with other energy saving products.
There's never been a better time for the WER - or for warm edge.".
