Super Spacer brings new custom for Clayton Glass
Since choosing Edgetech's Super Spacer, Clayton Glass has attracted new customers specifically looking for units with warm edge technology.
"There is a significant shift happening towards Warm Edge Technology as a result.
We wanted to be at the forefront of that shift, which is why we've made a significant investment in two fully automated Lisec lines to apply Edgetech's Super Spacer TriSeal spacer.
"We manufacture sealed units for large commercial projects, trade customers, and for our own PVC-U frames sold to the trade sector, which made the decision to invest in a warm edge spacer technology more complex.
We have been aware of Edgetech through its active marketing in the trade press for the last three years, so knew it was a major player.
But we did our research into other warm edge suppliers, which confirmed Edgetech's TriSeal provided the best performance across the board.
The benefits it could give us and our customers in all sectors, was clear.
We stand out from our competitors because we are particularly focussed on going out of our way for our customers.
So giving them the highest performing product is essential".
Richard continues: "As well as the all important energy efficiency benefits of TriSeal, investing in two fully automated machines gives us fantastic productivity benefits too.
Our capacity will increase from 12,000 sealed units a week currently to upwards of 15,000 sealed units per week, which will allow us to stay ahead of the steady increase in sales we've been experiencing over the last few years." AC Yule is currently working towards achieving an A, B and C rated window to offer to its trade market.
