Super Spacer brings new custom for Clayton Glass
Since choosing Edgetech's Super Spacer, Clayton Glass has attracted new customers specifically looking for units with warm edge technology.
"With this in mind, the new factory has no need for aluminium spacer bar and as well as increasing overall toughened capacity, is totally dedicated to the manufacture of Warm Edge, Low Iron and gas filled products".
"Meanwhile Smartglass continues to go from strength to strength, and this new site will enable us to achieve our aim of over 100 roofs a week by the end of the year".
"The new 10,000 sq ft factory houses an additional toughening plant, another cutting centre and a second Super Spacer applicator, meaning Clayton Glass now operates each day with four unit lines, three cutting tables and two toughening plants".
"Prior to investment we could toughen 7,500 metres a week and manufacture 2,000 Super Spacer units a week".
"Now we can toughen 13,500 metres and produce 4,000 units a week".
"We are one of only a handful of companies in the UK to offer the entire range of Window Energy Rating glazing options, giving our customers the choice, whether they want to offer a C rated window or opt for the much sought after A rating".
Ryan continues: "We have been focused on offering energy efficient products for a long time and now we have backed this up with significant investment".
"Doing so in the right areas means we have the capacity in place to meet customer demands for any combination".
"Furthermore, in the summer we will be launching an exciting new brand, Clayton EnergiMAX.
Bringing together the very best technologies - warm edge, low iron, softcoated low E, and argon filled - if you can't get an A rating with this, you can't get it with anything".
