An EDA Systems product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 13, 2010

EDA Systems has released EDA Arboricultural for ZWCAD, which enables information from BS5837 tree schedules to be quickly and accurately recorded onto the Site Survey CAD drawing.

It is said to produce professional-looking reports - both textual and graphical.

Features: fully compatible with AutoCAD drawings; tree-schedule information stored within the site survey drawing; eliminates the need to manage separate documents; instant access to all tree-schedule data for review or modification; accurate graphical representations of crown-canopy diameters based on north, south, east and west radial measurements; accurate graphical representations of root-protection areas for single- and multi-stem trees; enables experimentation with 'what if' scenarios for new and modified Crown and RPAs; instant graphical results for predictions for future growth or remedial work; Users of EDA Arboricultural can create an automatic tree-schedule report or import an existing tree-survey schedule list from Excel or a Word document.
