The Energy Saving Trust (EST) UK-wide seminars encourage architects, local authority officers and other professionals to integrate renewable energy sources into new and existing dwellings.
Harnessing solar power is the easiest way of using renewable energy in the home It can be used as a passive part of building design to reduce the need for artificial heating and cooling systems by enabling more natural light to enter the building

These seminars will provide information and advice to professionals that show how it can be incorporated into their practical designs." Building homes that are completely powered by renewable energy may be a long way off for mainstream housing, but many current technologies can be integrated today.
This seminar will look at the key renewable energy options for housing, their costs, benefits, visibility and other issues for their successful implementation.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to question experts, discuss areas of mutual interests with fellow professionals and receive a complimentary information pack containing a range of relevant literature.
