An Energy Saving Trust (EST) product story
Edited by the Buildingtalk editorial team Aug 4, 2005

The Energy Saving Trust (EST) is holding a series of free, one day seminars 'Taking the lead: sustainable energy for planners' especially for local authority and housing professionals.

As awareness of climate change and its consequences grows, the role of planners in delivering and promoting sustainable energy is becoming increasingly important.

In support of this trend, and to give planners the impetus and necessary guidance to integrate sustainability into their planning, the Energy Saving Trust (EST) is holding a series of free, one day seminars for local authority and housing professionals.

These events will include presentations, case studies, information about sources of help and will offer a chance to discuss sustainable energy issues with other industry professionals.

The seminars, 'Taking the lead: sustainable energy for planners' take place on various dates between 7-28th September 2005 in London, Manchester and Exeter.

Places are limited and demand is likely to be high.

To book a place, simply visit www.est.org.uk, follow the links to the event booking form and fax it back to the EST, or call 0845 120 7789 for further information.
