The Energy Saving Trust (EST) is holding a series of free, one day seminars 'Taking the lead: sustainable energy for planners' especially for local authority and housing professionals.
As awareness of climate change and its consequences grows, the role of planners in delivering and promoting sustainable energy is becoming increasingly important In support of this trend, and to give planners the impetus and necessary guidance to integrate sustainability into their planning, the Energy Saving Trust (EST) is holding a series of free, one day seminars for local authority and housing professionals

A new website packed with free technical information and online tools has been launched by the Energy Saving Trust to help the building profession become more energy efficient.
These events will include presentations, case studies, information about sources of help and will offer a chance to discuss sustainable energy issues with other industry professionals.
The seminars, 'Taking the lead: sustainable energy for planners' take place on various dates between 7-28th September 2005 in London, Manchester and Exeter.
