Former international management consultant Matthew Francis is giving up one city role for another when he exchanges his PC and Blackberry for a PDA and Energy Analyser in his new role as an HVAC Energy Consultant for Efficient Air.
31-year-old Matthew has bought the first Efficient Air franchise, for London EC1, and will soon become a familiar figure in the plant rooms that operate the energy guzzling heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems that make the lives of the thousands of City of London office workers comfortable.
Having completed intensive theory training at Efficient Air's Sussex HQ and over 100 hours practical training in the plant rooms of large buildings, he is now fully equipped to carry out surveys that will establish the most cost effective means for reducing the HVAC energy load in a building, which constitutes 40-80% of its total energy use.
"I chose Efficient Air for my investment because the whole issue of energy saving and climate change is not only topical but will remain a key requirement for the foreseeable future", explained Matthew.
"Efficient Air is the UK's only independent engineering company with the specialist knowledge to assess current HVAC performance and install the most suitable air movement equipment".
"I believe that I can earn a fair income from the unique model which the company's founder, Darren Bryant and his team have designed and developed over the last 5 years to save hundreds of thousands of tonnes of CO2.".
