Efficient Air is recommendind a document issued by the Department of Communities and Local Government titled "A Guide to Air Conditioning Inspections for Buildings".
Gareth Fox, sales and marketing director of energy saving specialists Efficient Air, reports that he has received calls from a number of experienced individuals who have seen their plans to set up businesses around the energy performance aspects of HIPS dashed as a result of the uncertainty.
Fortunately he has been able to direct them towards another opportunity.
He explains: "Because we are looking for similar people with perhaps a business, property management or energy background for our energy survey franchise we have been able to offer them an immediate alternative".
"Although our franchise is for commercial rather than residential properties, we are finding that their profiles match our requirements directly".
