Weyroc Protect/Rapid Deck flooring system
Egger UK's Weyroc Protect/Rapid Deck flooring system has been hailed as one of the construction industry's most innovative new products by the Construction Products Association.
Weyroc Protect boards can be fixed to the joist using Weyroc D4 Adhesive, eliminating the need for nails while the application of Weyroc D4 Adhesive to the tongue and groove gives a permanently sealed joint and eliminates the need for joint tape.
On average, laying an 80 sq m plot can take up to five hours using the conventional method, while the Rapid Deck approach, as trials have shown, can enable the builder to lay the same floor space in only one hour and forty minutes - a time saving of over three hours.
The use of an adhesive to fix the board also eliminates squeak related problems normally associated with using nails.
The specially developed Weyroc D4 Adhesive can be used in light rain conditions, which means that just because it's raining the laying process does not need to stop.
Weyroc D4 adhesive, which is available in a handy and economical 1kg bottle, reduces wastage and also avoids the need for glue guns and any specialised cleaning materials.
Weyroc Protect is BBA approved, CE certified, FSC approved, and meets part E and L requirements.
