60 Minute Loft Conversion
Loft space fire barriers are crucial to conversions and also to comply with building regulations. Envirograf have made the task easy, cheap and simple and most important of all without any disruption.
EP/CP paint coating is an extremely versatile paint which will cover the ceiling below just like emulsion paint and offer a staggering 60 minute, fireproof protection for 9mm or 12mm plasterboard without the need to lift floor boards The paint is available in a full range of colours and has been independently tested on walls and load bearing ceilings
More recently a test was carried out on a full size test rig which achieved 71 minutes integrity and insulation.
If fire protection with impact or airborne sound is needed then Envirograf can offer a 104-minute under-floor fire barrier for fire protection, which can also be used in conjunction with an acoustic sponge to meet Document E building regulations.
