New Fire-Proof Cast In Concrete Pipe
Sleeve
The sleeve is a circular metal collar with an intumescent lining, designed for setting into concrete which will allow any type of service (cable, pipe, etc) to be inserted or removed at any time.
Removable end caps are made from acoustic sponge and fireproof card, and they can be cut with a sharp knife to accommodate services up to the internal diameter of the sleeve They can be fitted into bored holes if new services are required after the concrete has been set
For use around services in fire-rated floors, the sleeve is fastened to the reinforcing mesh with wire ties and cast into the concrete.
Suitable for use in either domestic or industrial applications (such as computer rooms, hospitals, laboratories etc) fire tested to BS476 parts 20 and 22 (1987) giving up to 4 hours of fire protection and sound insulation to Doc E of UK Building Regulations and BS476 Part 31/1.
