The o2c export capacity from StairCon has been subjected to major improvements.
Now users can simply save an exported 3D view of the new stair design as an o2c model to any desired file path.
The file can then be sent as an email attachment to housebuilders or direct to individual customers to view their intended stair design in animated 3D.
In addition to the o2c enhancements, the upgraded version of StairCon now provides several additional design options.
For example, a 'Z-Stair' configuration can be created and this is supported through the production capabilities of the package, feeding cutting information directly to the CNC machine.
Meanwhile the visualisation element of the package enables designers to introduce a glass balustrade, in line with the demands from housebuilders and architects for more contemporary interior detailing.
With the same ease, other textures can also be manipulated.
For example the timber of doors, windows and the colours of pictures on the 3D walls can be 'Stretched' in the 3D view of the latest version of StairCon, instead of the previous simplified 'Tile' settings.
This improves the visual impact and clash detection against common elements located within stairwells.
Additional enhancements to the settings and profiling have been made.
Current users of StairCon will also see that the incorporation of straight and winder bullnoses into the same post provides more detailing flexibility.
This is further illustrated by the easier use of material combinations within flights and the ability to create 180 degree winder boxes.
"By constantly listening to the feedback of our growing customer base, we are able to implement on-going changes and improvements to the StairCon software that can greatly enhance service delivery to their own customers," explains Jason Ruddle, Managing Director of Consultec UK.
"Saving both resources and valuable time, these enhancements also enable our customers to demonstrate added value in the design service they offer - both in speed of turn-around and simplicity of visualisation.".
