Elcometer now testing concrete for salt
Elcometer announce that they have developed a test kit for use with coatings on concrete.
From their extensive experience in the coatings industry, where testing for salt on steel structures is essential before applying a coating, Elcometer are pleased to announce that they have now taken this knowledge and developed a test kit for use with coatings on concrete As concrete is porous, the presence of soluble salts on, or in the surface, prior to coating will lead to premature breakdown of both the coating and the concrete structure
