A brand your own offer from plumbing products manufacturer, Ellis has proved a big hit for bathroom and plumbing distributor, Dell Factor Limited.
The West Midlands-based company jumped at the chance to swap from manufacturer to own branded pipe fixing accessories when alerted to the offer in early 2008.
And such was the success of its initial order, it now exclusively stocks own branded products.
Andy Swindells, managing director of Dell Factor, commented: "Pipe fixing accessories are very much a commodity product and so nobody tends to ask for them by brand".
"As a result, we thought the Ellis offer provided us with a great opportunity to increase awareness of our business by ensuring that every bag of clips we sell to our merchant customers everywhere from Manchester and Yorkshire, through East and West Midlands, to South Wales and the South West, carries our logo".
Designed to give any customer the chance to buy bagged products displaying any combination of its name, logo and contact details, the Ellis brand your own offer is free of charge on orders with a total value of GBP300 or more, and is available across the company's entire standard pipe fixing accessories.
This product range includes snap-in open pipe clips, hinged pipe clips, pipe clip spacers, double swivel clips, heavy duty pipe clips, side entry pipe clips, nail clips and pipe covers, brackets and collars.
Richard Shaw, managing director of Ellis said: "When you consider we're providing merchants and other trade counter operators with the chance to effectively put their logo, name and contact details in front of their customers day after day it's little surprise that companies like Dell Factor have decided to own brand their entire stock".
In order to receive brand your own bags, customers need to supply an electronic version of their logo, contact details and any other information they wish to be included on the pack to Ellis.
