As part of Emerson Climate Technologies, Copeland is continuing to set the standard with the development of new and innovative products Still 'committed to tradition' with semi-hermetic compressor technology, Copeland has overcome many of the obstacles of the past caused by operating at low condensing temperatures

The new D6SU-400X DWM semi-hermetic compressor is designed for a minimum of 20 degrees C condensing temperature with even lower condensing temperatures being achieved using the ZB range of refrigeration scroll compressors.

More recent innovative compressor technology comes from the latest second generation scroll range of low temperature ZF EVI compressors, specifically designed to give optimised efficiency at the higher operating pressure ratios (average 55% COP increase).

The new Copeland Digital Scroll compressor for commercial refrigeration applications enables capacity modulation down to 10%, without the added cost of an inverter.

Both of these advanced concepts in scroll design (ZF EVI and Copeland Digital Scroll), have been incorporated into the new Copeland EazyCool range of outdoor condensing units.

With the development of electronics in parallel with the latest compressor technology, the Copeland EazyCool units can now be networked incorporating ALCO electronic controllers, providing improved temperature control and energy efficiency.
