The 8 and 12 hp models have two compressors, one with fixed capacity, the other modulated.
An Electronic Condensing Unit Controller -fitted as standard in these units-, takes care of capacity modulation, based on suction pressure.
The product is mainly to be used for medium temperature applications where close temperature control (food storage) or modulation (multiple evaporator systems) is required.
Versus more traditional modulation methods like inverter control or 2-step control, most important benefits are lower applied cost, better system control behaviour, reliable oil return and ease of application.
