Elevator display specialist E-Motive has supplied 55 of its full colour LCD displays to the new Conference Palace in Abu Dhabi.
One of the largest building projects in the Gulf, the Conference Palace will play host to the 2004 Summit of the Co-Operation Council for Arab States The colour LCD displays show elevator position, direction, date and time, floor directories and commercial logos

Elevator display specialist E-Motive has supplied custom-designed displays and a lift monitoring system to the stunning new Al Faisaliah building in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
They are also programmable to display a wide range of messages, from news updates and weather reports to special greetings and information about forthcoming events.
The full colour background can be configured to show pictures or adverts according to floor selected by passengers, or on a time-scheduling basis.
In addition to the colour displays, E-Motive will also be supplying a state-of-the-art elevator monitoring system for all 82 elevators as well as the Palace's 32 escalators.
Once operational, the monitoring system will record traffic flow and the current status of all the units, as well as allowing different options in each elevator to be switched on or off or modified from a control terminal.
The monitoring system also has the special option of analysis, allowing the performance of each elevator to be presented in numeric and graphic form, including changes in status, landing call response times and details of landing calls.
