HCC awards Emcor with GBP1.8m facilities

Emcor Facilities Services has been awarded a GBP1.8 million contract by Hampshire County Council to manage and oversee maintenance and emergency response services.
Emcor Facilities Services has been awarded a GBP1.8 million contract by Hampshire County Council to manage and oversee maintenance and emergency response services for 385 key public service buildings including fire stations, schools, libraries, museums and retirement homes The five year contract is for Area A, the Council's largest area covering Basingstoke, Andover and Winchester, and follows the completion of a successful 6 year relationship with the Council to manage properties in Area B

Emcor awarded GBP2m contract for Iveco
Emcor Facilities Services, the global facilities management company, has been awarded a GBP2m contract by Iveco.
The new contract will see Emcor provide a range of mechanical and electrical services for a number of the County's high profile public attractions, including one of the UK's largest 'living' museums called Milestones in Hampshire.
Emcor was selected as part of a partnership arrangement with Hampshire County Council under their Term Maintenance Contract which requires contractors to demonstrate a dedication and proven track record and is one of only two contractors to win back an area.
Emcor will also be responsible for selecting and managing subcontractors which will be chosen under the Council's partnership agreement as well as a signed agreement with Emcor's terms and conditions in respect to best practice.

This has led to the development of a number of effective support systems which have provided a range of tangible cost benefits such as reducing the number of suppliers by up to 50 % and closer relationships with subcontractors to guarantee service delivery.
Commenting on the new contract, Dave Parker, Director of Mobile and Project Services and Specialist Services for Emcor, said: "This new contract is the result of a sustained period of high performance delivery to a key client".
"The entire team based on the previous contract were instrumental in being able to offer an innovative and customer centred delivery model which serves the needs of this highly sensitive area".
Martin De Wied, Term Contract Manager, Hampshire County Council said: "Emcor's history of being able to deliver a consistently high level of service with a rapid response when needed through a safe and compliant operating model were key to their selection to move forward with the Council for the next five years".
