Leading architectural glazing firm has bagged a town centre regeneration deal worth £5m.

A leading architectural glazing firm has bagged a town centre regeneration deal worth £5m Suffolk based English Architectural Glazing has been contracted by Multiplex Constructions to provide the curtain walling, glazing and cladding as part of a scheme to regenerate High Wycombe town centre

EAG, which went through a high profile management buy-out earlier this year, will start work on site next April and will be working on the town's new bus station as well as the new Marks and Spencer store, installing curtain walling, canopies, windows and automatic doors.

EAG's pre construction director, Edward Whipp, said: "This is the biggest deal we have done post MBO and we are very pleased to have bagged such a large and prestigious contract which also demonstrates the positive light in which our business is viewed by our clients".

"The initial work load will be heavy as the project requires work to be undertaken on many areas simultaneously, with the new bus station being the first area to be handed over in July of next year".

"We are confident that our detailed design, planning and early manufacture will ensure the project is a success for us and will demonstrate that we are capable of competing for very large scale projects".

The development also involves a new multi-screen facility for Cine UK as well as a House of Fraser department store.

The architect is Haskoll and Company and the Contractor Multiplex Constructions .
