Seeing Through A Landmark Building
One of the most innovative building projects in Docklands has had phase one of its ambitious glass curtain walling completed by English Architectural Glazing.
Glazing specialist EAG was contracted by Curzon Interiors to design, manufacture and install acoustically-enhanced aluminium windows to each of the 450-bedrooms of the 4-star luxury hotel.
Working alongside the new main contractor, John Sisk, EAG has now completed the installation using the latest Schuco window and walling systems.
The original £1.6m contract led to an additional £800,000 contract with fit-out contractor, Beck Interiors, for the design, manufacture and installation of blast-enhanced glazed screens to the ground and mezzanine level public area zones.
When the hotel opens in October 2006 it will reveal elegant guest rooms and suites, a new destination restaurant and bar, contemporary event space and luxurious spa.
