Specialist glazing firm English Architectural Glazing has secured a GBP2m contract from Galliford Try.

Specialist glazing firm secures Open University contract English Architectural Glazing has secured a GBP2m contract from Galliford Try to install curtain walling, bolted entrance screens, windows, doors and fixed blade aluminium louvres to the new Jennie Lee Building in Milton Keynes.

The GBP13m project at the Open University's Walton Hall campus includes the demolition of the existing Jennie Lee library and construction of a new 5,000m facility to house the computing, maths and Institute of Educational Technology faculties.

The new building, designed by architects Swanke Hayden Connell, is due for completion at the end of January 2008.
