Encasement has unveiled its Lamina range of decorative compact laminate column casings for concealing interior structural columns.

The Lamina range is manufactured from high-pressure compact laminate.

The casings are particularly suited for use in high traffic areas due to their high strength, durability, as well as moisture, fire and wear resistance.

Lamina casings can be formed into virtually any column casing shape including circles, squares and rectangles, along with special ellipses and other custom designs.

Their strength and rigidity enables them to be installed with minimal structural support, making them suitable for applications with large vertical spans.

A wide range of colour options is available including standard solid colours, patterned and print finishes.

Custom colours and finishes are also available to meet specific project requirements.

Martin Taylor, managing director, Encasement, commented: "With the introduction of the new fire resistant Lamina range, we believe we now have the most comprehensive range of column casing solutions in the UK, which not only includes pre-formed plywood, aluminium and stainless steel, but also GRP and GRG casings as well as our Metza range of specialised fire resistant casings for mezzanine floors".
