Euroclad is top solution for Mastercare

Euroclad has supplied the entire building envelope at a major distribution centre in Blackwood.

Euroclad was chosen for the construction near Newport because of its ability to deliver large contracts on-time, within short timescales Architect Burks Green specified Euroclad's products on the roof, comprising of an SF500 Secret Fix roof manufactured from Corus Colorcoat HPS200 in Albatross Grey

For the vertical elevations of the building Euroclad supplied more than 25,000m2 of trapezoidal wall cladding.

The manufacturer's Architectural Fabrications division produced all of the bespoke fabrications and special flashings.

Specialist contractor ABS/Elbrow installed the entire building envelope according to the manufacturer's recommended guidelines.

The Secret Fix roof sheets were rolled on-site using Euroclad's self-contained, mobile rollformer.

This method eliminates potential problems such as limited access or storage space, high transport costs and damage during transit.

SF500 forms part of Elite System 4.

Elite Systems offer the client or architect a roof or wall cladding system with specified performance based on the use of Euroclad products, alongside approved building components.

This means that systems can be manufactured and supplied to achieve specific performances or to suit particular applications.

The use of a specific system not only provides reliable performance but can also offer a guarantee of 12 or 25 years.

Recycling, re-use and disposal of the system components was an important factor in the specification of the building.

Built-up systems from Euroclad offer a straight-forward solution.

The steel outer and liner sheets are readily separated during demolition for recycling and insulation may be re-used.

All of Euroclad's systems enjoy a range of recycling, reuse or disposal options that are far more straightforward than other metal cladding systems, particularly in the case of foam-cored composite panels that can struggle with restrictive options at the end of its useful life.* .
