"We predict exports will account for 30 per cent of our business by the end of this year as overseas customers continue to recognise that effective and automatic lighting management is an ideal way of curbing ever-rising energy costs." Recently completed Ex-Or overseas contracts have included:.
* Ex-Or MLS Managed Lighting System controls have been installed throughout the landmark Microsoft HQ building in Bangalore, India by Wipro Lighting, India's largest lighting manufacturer, who are sole Indian agents for Ex-Or.
* The installation of Ex-Or lighting management systems in the Malta Bank of Valetta.
* An office building in South Melbourne, Australia, has received the first 6 Star Green Star rating, the highest rating yet to be awarded to a building refurbishment under the Australian Government's environmental rating scheme.
This follows the installation of the Ex-Or MLS Digital Managed Lighting System by ECS Energy Conservation Systems Pty , Ex-Or's exclusive distributors in Australia and New Zealand.
* Ex-Or lighting management systems have been installed in a large number of prestige buildings in Dubai, including the Al Rostamani Tower and the Awqaf Building by Ex-Or sales agents TECON .
* The installation of Ex-Or lighting management systems in Customs stations throughout Norway and Sweden.
Ex-Or recently made a £300,000 investment in its state-of-the-art surface-mount electronics manufacturing plant at its Haydock base to help meet rising overseas demand for its products.
