Ex-Or, international leaders in lighting management, has appointed Paul Davies to key role of OEM and Export Sales Manager.

Paul, who has long experience in the electrical services and lighting sectors, will be looking to consolidate recent OEM and export gains and open up new overseas markets for the company For many years Ex-Or's lighting management equipment has been supplied on an OEM basis to most of the international lighting industry's most prestigious names

Ex-Or's current export boom is being fuelled by companies around the world wanting to reduce their carbon footprint by cutting the use of unnecessary lighting in their buildings.

Ex-Or's sales are particularly strong throughout Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, India, and the Middle and Far East.

Said Paul: "Business and public sector organisations worldwide are becoming increasingly conscious they have a corporate and social responsibility to protect the environment by cutting carbon emissions.

"Reducing the use of electricity is one key way to meet these responsibilities, and there is a growing awareness that eliminating wasted use of lighting is one of the most effective ways there is of cutting unnecessary electricity use".

Paul has been a sales engineer at GE Lighting, where he was responsible for OEM sales to lighting manufacturers, and has also held senior sales positions at Chloride Electronics.

He joins Ex-Or from Modular Wiring Systems Europe where he was sales director.
