Seventy fuel efficient Vauxhall Corsa cars have been delivered to electrical testing specialists Epsilon Test Services for its entire UK force of field service engineers The £50,000 investment sees Epsilon replace its old fleet with more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly cars

The diesel vehicles will be used by the company's 70 field service engineers during their site visits where Portable Appliance Testing and Fixed Installation Testing are undertaken.

Company managing director Mark Blanchfield comments: "This is a major financial investment for Epsilon Test Services, which also shows our commitment to sustainability and the environment and the need to ensure that our engineers are driving the most cost efficient vehicles on the road".

Epsilon sees the new cars as a way of keeping its costs to the minimum, helping it maintain its competitive edge.

The new cars will also be more reliable than the older fleet, ensuring that Epsilon engineers maintain their reputation for punctuality and keeping agreed appointments.

The engineers recently took delivery of the entire fleet at an internal conference held at Epsilon's new building premises in Gloucester Business Park.
